How Much Funding Is Available?

Sponsorship awards from The Legacy Fund typically range from $500 to $2,500, with a maximum possible award of $5,000.

Choosing the Right Option: Community Sponsorship or Fiscal Sponsorship

TruEvolution offers two distinct pathways to support organizational needs through The Legacy Fund:

• Community Sponsorship: Direct funding for specific projects, programs, or community events.
• Fiscal Sponsorship: Designed for groups without 501(c)(3) nonprofit status that require a partner to receive and manage funding. Fiscal sponsorship allows sponsored groups to utilize TruEvolution’s legal and tax-exempt status to apply for grants and accept donations. This option also includes administrative support from TruEvolution in financial management, compliance, and reporting requirements.

Fiscal Sponsorship Fees: TruEvolution charges an administrative fee of 10% to 12% of total funds managed through fiscal sponsorship. This fee covers the cost of fiscal oversight, financial management, reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Fiscal sponsorship is available by invitation only and supported through external grantors.
